APS is Arizona’s largest and longest-serving electric company. APS generates safe, affordable and reliable electricity for more than 1.2 million retail and residential customers in 11 of Arizona’s 15 counties.
Overview
ROLE
UX Designer: I was responsible for designing the non-transactional part of the website.
Objectives
The main business goal for redesigning the website was to reduce the amount of calls to the customer center.
The goal for redesigning the non-transactional part of the website was to identify content issues, recommendations, priorities and thus improve the user’s experience.
Modular Design System
In order to manage the breadth of content types, we used modular design system that became the foundation of the websites and a means to streamline the collaborative process.
Wireframes
We dedicated time and effort in designing each modular component and its associated user interaction to ensure ease of delivery of the contents to the users.
